We’re looking for a Product engineer to join our small team and make Kive an indispensable tool for every creative in the world. We care deeply about user experience and ease of use, and put significant focus on top-notch UI and interactions. We had enough of dealing with slow and clunky tools. For this, we’re looking for engineers who care about design and like to work on features from ideation to release, enhance existing features and come up with entire new creative ways to make our users more productive.
We’re on a mission to make the world more creative and creativity more collaborative.
We genuinely believe that when creativity and technology come together, something close to magic happens. In our opinion, the intersection of creativity and tech is the most exciting space to work in – one that pushes culture and imagination forward.
In this role you will
Work in close collaboration with other engineers and designers.
Do the best work of your career and work regular hours.
Co-own the product. Have high autonomy, and take responsibility where you see the need. Make yourself indispensable to the team.
Innovate and iterate. You’ll get to both try bold new ideas, and refine & optimise the ones that work and are due for a second iteration. Listen to user feedback, work with a designer together to come up with improvements and ship them.
Wear many hats. We’re a small team of generalists. You might add a new page to our marketing pages, set up an internal endpoint in our Node.js backend or automate tedious tasks.
What we offer
Competitive salary and an attractive equity program in a start-up funded by top investors Creandum (1st investor Spotify, iZettle, depop) and EQT Ventures (Einride, Sonantic). 🦄
An opportunity to join an early-stage company and influence how we build the company before there are too many processes and structures in place.
A learning environment, with interesting challenges to solve and an ambitious team to support you.
A flexible work setup – work from home or join us in the office located in the heart of Stockholm.
You'll be a great fit if
You’re product-minded. You have a sense for great user experience and feel when something is off. You care about design and how the things you build make people feel. You add analytics to reason about changes in the app and proactively iterate.
You're self-motivated and self-managing. You can break down big projects into small deliverables. You care about the outcome and take a pragmatic approach to deliver it. You value feedback, but don’t need to be told what to do, and are proactive picking up work yourself.
